Selfie a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smart phone or webcam and shared with social media. self portrait- a portrait that an artist produced of them selves. How many selfies, on average, do you take each week? I do not really take selfies because selfies are not that important to me because I think you do not need to take selfies to get likes and friend's just be you .
Why do you think taking selfies become so popular? I think selfies has become so popular because people use them to get likes and to make them feel good about them self.
Is there any downsides to selfie culture (the taking and sharing of selfies)? I think there are many downsides to the selfie culture because when you take a picture and share it on the internet every one can see it and you may get a lot of bad comments and this can make you feel bad about your self.

Vivian Maier exhibition !
Our challenge was to make an exhibition about Vivian Maier we started by watching a 20 minute video about Vivian Maier life and her work and after the video our teacher gave us 30 pictures that Vivian Maier had took and we had to choose which ones we wanted to put in our exhibition Amy and I choose 26 of the photos. We lade out the pictures in the shape of her initials V.M and put the rest of the pictures on the other side under the range of photos we wrote the title V.M.SELF.PORTRAIT and under the title we wrote about are exhibition and I put information about Vivian life and how she worked as a part time nanny and a photograph I think that I worked very well in a with my partner and I think I made some thoughtful decisions such as the initials V.M made out of the photos she had taken throughout her life. I think my exhibition made sense but i think my presentation to the class didn't go as well as I wanted it to go as I kept laughing but I think I spoke clearly to the class so they can understand clearly. What I found the most challenging was to stand up and talk to the class about are exhibition but it went very well. What I would to better next time would be to stand up not keep laughing.
First photo shoot ...
Today I went out and took range of selfies for example I took selfies with mirrors and flash lights and shadows.
Assessment...
In Lee Friendlander photograph I can see 2 diffrent reflection there is also a shadow of man in the centre of the photograph. Also in Friendlander there is a man looking into a shop window or something similar to a shop, and that is how he has got his reflection. In the background I can see 3 cares a building and a man standing beside a car. In this photo there is also a open door on the other side of the glass. In Francesca woodman's photo there is a door frame on the other side of the door there is a figure standing behind a large piece of wight crumpled large paper and all you cam see is a hand also you can see a figure inside a wight piece of paper and all you can see his the persons feet. In Josephson photo he is standing in of a car and is holding a viewfinder and the hand belongs to someone in the car. And on the same car there is a shadow of himself.
In Friedland photo he includes diffrent types of frames for example he is looking through a window and he can see a door with a frame. In Woodman's photo he uses a type of frame for example he uses door frames to take his photo's . In Joesphson photo he uses a frame of a viewfinder to help with his photo.
All three photographs had something mysterious about them. For example, Friedland's photo, there is a door on the other side of the window but thats all you can see on the other side. In woodman's photograph you can see a hand but were is the rest of the body? And in Joesphson there was a lot of darkness was that on purpose or not? I feel like each photographer has been creative in there own way for example took a photo of him self looking through a window but his photo will keep the viewer wondering about what is going on in the photo. And in Woodman's photo someone is hiding inside a wight piece of paper and that idea is very creative and the photo is all dark and gloomy.
I enjoy looking at Firland's photo the most because there is so much going on for example you can look on . the outside if the glass or you can look on the inside of the glass. I think that this picture will have a big impact on my own work for example it will keep me wondering and being more creative with my own work and it will help me think of more ideas.
THE SHADOW SELFIE !!!!
A shadow is like a photograph of ourselves,an image made by light. Photographes are particularly sensitive to effects of light and so have long been interested in there own shadows.
